Good Day! I am a cat rescuer & humane trapper in Corvallis, Oregon, helping control the feline overpopulation crisis by getting ferals spayed & neutered & vaccinated. Putting a plea out there to help get my ResKew Ferals non-profit off the ground, all while juggling about 9 active Trap-Neuter-Release projects where there are anywhere from 5 to 15 cats at each location!
I do all the trapping myself, which takes a LOT of time, energy, and gas, especially for the locations 20-30 minutes away. Lately I have been needing to cover all spay/neuter costs for each feral or stray kitty in my county, which ranges from $40-$45 for the surgery/shots/parasite treatment; PLUS the after-care costs I cover, which includes litter, dry & wet food, and any unforeseen medical issues that may arise while fosters are in my care.
Kitten season is upon us, and the requests for rescue and trapping are off the charts! Any little bit would help my goal to fix feral and stray cats of Benton & Linn Counties! There are far too many homeless cats breeding multiple times per year! Thank you in advance for all your support!!
