Resource Fundraiser for Refugee & Asylum Seekers

We are a nonprofit organization called Contracovid, and our organizations' mission is to connect minority individuals and their families to the medical and social resources needed to improve their quality of life. We are fiscally sponsored by the Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization.

Currently, migrants from Venezuela and other surrounding countries have been forced to relocate from their home countries and are being placed in shelters in New York and other cities. Many of the families belongings were taken at the border, and they are currently without the basic necessities such as clothing and food.

Members of the Contracovid organization are collaborating with mutual aid groups and are requesting donations to give directly to the families. The monetary donations that are collected from this gofundme will be used to purchase clothing, shoes, blankets and other resources families may need to survive.
