ResponseAbility goes on! War in Congo DRC

New Call for urgent support! In January 2025 the M23 Rebels took over the city of Goma (DRC) in North Kivu and brought the ongoing war to a new peak. Already before around 400,000 people were displaced and without shelter, without drinking water, without food, without clothes, without medicine. Women, children, handicapped and elderly people are the victims. Now the situation got even worse.

We ask for your urgent help and implore you all to come as soon as possible to the aid of these pregnant women without assistance, for these children who have lost their parents and for the survival of everyone, offering every day drinking water, food, clothing, medicine, ....

You support will provide much needed, sanitary products, food, shelter, medication and water. The defined goal of the sum of 10'000 $ will help to provide the most necessary and for the Kokoriko Foundation to continue their work.

The Kokoriko Foundation is an organisation of local artists that mostly work with orphelines by teaching them dance, theatre, music and art. From the beginning of the conflicts they were volunteering in the refugee camps. Through a first Gofundme toilets were built and food was organized. In order to continue the work- as the conflicts continue- the foundation calls out for new donations.
