Hi Everyone, my name is ilka and the photo of that beautiful little girl is my best friend Alejandra. I’ve known her since I was 5 years old and I’m starting a go fund me for her family. On October 29th, 2021 she passed away from leukemia at banner hospital where she was born. She told me she was “sick” and had a infection unknowing what was actually going on. By the time she got to the hospital on October 28th the cancer had taken over. Too late for anything. She was newly pregnant and was so excited for a new chapter in her life. I remember her telling me how excited she was to give all her love to a new baby. She was 28 years old and taken too quickly. Alejandra went to Santa Clara elementary where I met her. Followed by that she went to challenger middle school and desertview high school. She was a huge part of my life and we texted every single day. She always made sure she made everyone smile. Every penny will go to her mom and dad, Florencia and Hector Mendoza to cover all funeral costs. To everyone reading this every penny counts. Her parents are not in the best financial situation.
