Rest Easy Sweet Bayli
It is with great sadness that I have to raise funds to help my son Levi bury his young wife. Late last night while riding her bike home from work, just down the street from her house, Bayli was struck from behind and sadly passed away at the scene. Levi was on his shift at the fire department at the time, however he was on speaker phone talking to her while she rode home. The call went silent then minutes later he heard the call come in, he knew it was her.
Levi and Bayli dated in high-school as 15/16 year old kids, they moved in together as soon as he graduated. She was by his side when he was sworn into the Navy and when he came home because it didn't work out. They moved to Savannah to spread their wings and to allow Bayli to pursue her dream of going to SCAD and to become a comic illustrator. They were engaged in Forsythe Park on Valentine's Day 2021, then married in the mountains in NC that June. They made a life for themselves in Savannah and were active in the SCAD community. Levi became a Chatham County firefighter just over a year ago with Bayli at his side every step of the way. His firefighting family were on scene last night taking care of one of their own.
Although her life was cut short, Bayli touched many lives with her sweet loving personality. She was smart, serious, mature, beautiful and an old soul. She and Levi had so many goals and plans for themselves and their future. They continuously worked towards making them a reality.
Bayli will be missed by her husband, family and friends.
Please share and donate if you are able. We'd like to bury Bayli in a way she requested and allow Levi to grieve and be out of work without having to stress about finances.
