Rest in Paradise Kristen Chaffin-Hickman

Dear friends and family,

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our mom, Kristen Chaffin-Hickman, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Kristen was a light of warmth and compassion in this world, much like the radiance of a field of sunflowers. Her kindness, joy and laughter touched every person fortunate enough to know her. Kristen saw the best in everyone and extended her heart to anyone in need. Her love for her children, Kelcey and Casey, knew no bounds. The loss of Kristen is felt so deeply by her family, friends and community. She will forever live on in our hearts.

With Kristen's sudden passing, we have organized this GoFundMe to raise funds to help cover the many extensive unexpected immediate and long-term financial impacts that have now fallen on Kelcey and Casey's shoulders. This does also include a Celebration of Life, which we will post an update on once we have time to process and plan. Any potential remaining funds will be split between Kelcey and Casey as they take time to grieve and work together through this extremely challenging time. Anything is greatly appreciated.

Your words, messages, and acts of support and kindness thus far have been a source of hope and love for us. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we feel so fortunate to have such a beautiful community lifting us up.
