Its October 27th, the sun is shining and its 70 degrees outside! What a time to be alive!
It was a normal day for my uncle working the Streets of Santitation of Chicago as he's been doing for over 35 years of his life. Not knowing today will be his last day here.
Around 12:30pm, Ed returning an empty garbage can. He walks from the back of the garbage truck, walks along the passenger side, past the front of the truck to the drivers side when his driver suddenly puts the truck in drive making a wide right turn when he pins Ed between a pillar and the garbage truck crushing his chest.
The driver still not paying attention suddenly turns the corner and leaves Ed there. He died a few minutes later.
We just want a proper funeral service for my uncle and we're just a little low on funds until paperwork is final as it takes time.
We are asking for any donations that can help us in this time of need. Thank you.
