On October 17th our family lost our beloved Richard Revollar, who is lovingly nicknamed Cheo. Cheo came to the United States from Peru for a better future. Cheo was an amazing son, nephew, cousin, friend, and hard working man. He loved to cook Peruvian cuisine, dance, laugh, and spend time with his loved ones. Man, what an amazing cook and person our Cheo was!

Unfortunately, Cheo’s life was cut short due to a senseless, domestic shooting. Our family is heartbroken due to this tragedy. Cheo’s nuclear family is in Peru, while some of his aunts, uncles, and cousins reside in NoVa. We are putting this gofundme together to raise funds for the service to celebrate Cheo’s life. Our family sincerely thanks you for your prayers, kind words, and seeking justice with us. We appreciate every and all donations. Thank you for your support during this time.

Update made on 10/27: I, Nataly Aviles, would like to clarify that the funds of this fundraiser will be for the benefit of the memorial services, funeral proceedings for Richard, and to aid his mother financially as she travels from Peru to the United States for next steps with our beloved cousin. My father has been named my cousins successor and I will be supporting with movement of the funds to aid in the above. We thank you for your support.

El 17 de Octubre, nuestra familia perdió a nuestro querido Richard Revollar, conocido como Cheo por sus seres queridos. Cheo vino a los Estados Unidos de Peru para un mejor futuro. Cheo era un hijo maravilloso, sobrino, primo, amigo y trabajador. Le encantaba cocinar comida Peruana, bailar, reír, y pasar su rato con sus seres queridos. Wow, que estupendo cocinaba Cheo!

Lamentablemente , la vida de Cheo fue breve por un tiroteo domestico sin sentido. Nuestra familia en estos momentos están destrozados por esta tragedia. La familia directa de Cheo se encuentran en Peru, mientras algunas tias, tíos, y primos viven en Virginia. Nuestra familia ha creado este GoFundMe para poder recaudar fondos y apoyar con el servicio y poder celebrar la vida de Cheo. Agradecemos a todos que hayan tomado un momento de su tiempo mandándonos sus oraciones, buenos deseos y tratando de ayudarnos en buscar justicia, y por ultimo- por considerar en donar en lo que puedan.
