Rest In Peace, Jason Lee

Jason Lee.. The most loyal friend, son, brother.

Everybody who had the fortune of being his friend knows he was the most stand up guy..

He was always looking out for other people and being considerate of them, lending an ear, putting others before him. He was the type of guy who would take the shirt off his back for his person in need.

The last words he spoke to me was at 11:44pm on the 30th of September, 2023..

His last breaths were used on telling me he will send his location and to come find him, unfortunately he didn't make it past that point and had collapsed.. all by himself.

After hours of trying to locate him - I received a call saying he was in critical condition at the hospital.. When his mum and sister got there, he had already passed..

Jason was supporting his single mum, who also has health conditions of her own. He never shared his burdens and even in his last moments, he could barely ask for help..

Always trying to figure things out on his own and bear the responsibility himself. Always listening to other people venting, but where did he go to vent?

Jason has touched upon so many people's lives, and everybody who was his friend I'm sure can agree. We just celebrated his 26th birthday, where he wanted to bring all the people he loved together and provided for it. Now we celebrate his life.

Just like Jason, his mum is trying to figure things out on her own..

Nobody should see their child go before them.

I humbly call out to his friends, his community and anyone else who have been touched by Jason's one-of-a-kind presence to come together to help alleviate at least the financial burden that comes with the funeral costs/for his family. Even if he was alone in his last moments, he should not be alone in this.
