Restart Stephanie's life after medical trauma

Hello,

My name is Stephanie and I am fundraising for myself to start a new life. I don't really know a lot of people, but one of my friends insisted I make one of these anyways.

Long Story short:

I went through fertility treatment with my partner at the time to build a family. I changed careers and got an entry level postion so we could get fertility benefits. At 3 months pregnant my ex changed his mind and said he no longer wanted to be a father and kicked me out. I was high risk pregnancy at the time, so I couldn't pack my belongings.

I managed to find a place, but before I could get the keys I had a uterine aneurysm and had to have emergency surgery to save my life and baby. I was hospitalized for a couple weeks and it was touch and go. In the end I went septic and had to give birth to my son at 5 months old. So he didn't make it.

I'm on unpaid leave, because I was 12 days short of my one year anniversary when I ended up in the hospital. I'm expected to go back to work around December 5th and I've been on leave since October 5th.

The unexpected move to a new place, the medical bills, and the unpaid leave have me a little stressed out. Especially since my income is now for an entry level position.

I'm hoping to make a full recovery physically, my fertility may be threatened and I really want to be a mom. So I am going to look into freezing my eggs once I'm healthy enough. My work doesn't cover egg freezing, so I'm also trying to strategize how I could get a loan for that.

I am also currently looking for a therapist to process losing my son and how to be in a healthy relationship again. As the details of my relationship are also not so good.

In the end I just want to feel safe and secure again. I need to get my life going and learn to love myself again. Hopefully I'll get my future family some day. <3
