On Sunday, March 15th, we have temporally closed the door at Kochi in response to the global health crisis due to COVID-19. As we all try to figure out how we can help one another during this difficult time, we have been trying to understand what we can do to help our team.
As a small restaurant only have been open for couple months, we have laid off everyone on our team so that they can claim unemployment benefits. We are unable to mitigate everyone's economic losses. We have no choice to will continuously adhere to the government mandates, and hope for the good news to come.
Please consider making a donation to our campaign to support our affected team members. We plan on monitoring the donations and will distribute any collect funds equally amongst all temporarily laid off members to support our staff get through the period that the restaurant is not in operation.
