Restoration of walkway around Foulridge Res
Donation protected
Hi all Lower Burwain it's a local beauty spot in Foulridge. Which was constructed in 1793 to supply water to the newly constructed Leeds & Liverpool Canal. It is one of four reservoirs which feed the six mile summit length of canal.
For many years it has served as a local beauty spot for local people. Who regularly visit the site to walk, take there dogs out, ride bikes and view the abundance of wildlife the Res and area holds.
Burnley and Pendle District angling associations was formed and ran by anglers with with the goal of providing quality fishing for everybody. As part of our continuing work within the area we maintained the banks of Foulridge.
With this go fund me page we aim to raise money to maintained and improve the pathways around the Res to improve the access for all uses along with the elderly, infirmed and disabled...
Please consider donating as every little helps.
