Restore Access for Mitchell County Homes

My name is Shannon McCoy, and I love my small town.

• Mitchell County, North Carolina, was hit badly by Hurricane Helene. Our many beautiful creeks turned into destructive raging rivers, taking with them the entrances to many homes and farms. Large culverts and bridges were washed away, leaving properties inaccessible by vehicles or other necessary safety or construction equipment. A 48 inch by 20 ft culvert can cost up to $2000 each. All money will be put towards buying culverts for the community.
