Restore Broadway Barbers

I am writing to share my story and humbly request your support for the restoration of Broadway Barbers, a beloved community barbershop in Englewood, Colorado. My name is Kellie Martinez, and I am the owner of Broadway Barbers. Over the past year, my life has been impacted by a series of unfortunate events, and I find myself in a challenging situation.

The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds that will enable me to renovate a new shop for Broadway Barbers. This endeavor holds great significance to me, not only as a small business owner but also as a way to reclaim stability amidst the trials life has thrown my way.

To provide some context, this past year has been marked by profound loss and personal hardships. I experienced the devastating loss of my beloved mother. Her departure left me heartbroken and grappling with grief, and I have been trying to navigate through the healing process one day at a time.

Furthermore, my father fell ill, i felt it was necessary to be with my dad who lives in St Louis. During this challenging period, I had to take time off from work, which resulted in a financial strain. As an independent business owner, any disruption to my income has significant consequences.

As if these events weren't enough, my loving husband suffered a stroke, causing immense concern for his health and well-being. He is a skilled contractor, and we had initially planned for him to spearhead the renovation of both our home and the new barbershop location. Unfortunately, due to his condition, he is unable to fulfill this role, leaving us in a difficult position.
