Help Restore Dorothy Smith’s Legacy After the Eaton Wildfires
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
My name is Robin Campbell I am the niece of Dorothy Smith and I am raising money on behalf of my cousin Latasha Smith. Our family is heartbroken as we share that our beloved home, a place filled with over 40 years of love and memories, was tragically destroyed in the Eaton wildfires. This home was more than just a house—it was a symbol of family, resilience, and the legacy of our Aunt Dorothy Smith.
Dorothy moved into this home nearly 40 years ago after a distinguished 30-year career with the Social Security Administration. She dedicated her life to others, and though she never married or had children of her own, she lovingly took in and raised her two nieces, Latasha and Robin, as her own daughters. This house was the heart of our family and a safe haven for all who entered it.
Now, as we navigate this devastating loss, we are committed to preserving Dorothy’s legacy and restoring the family home. We understand that many in our community are also facing loss during this difficult time, but any support you can provide would mean the world to us. Your donations will help us:
• Provide Immediate Relief: Cover essentials like clothing, food, and temporary housing.
• Rebuild Our Family Home: Assist with construction and recovery efforts to restore the place that holds so much meaning for our family.
• Honor Dorothy’s Legacy: Ensure her lifelong dedication to her family and community lives on through the restoration of her cherished home.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to recovery. If you’re unable to give, sharing our story with others would be a tremendous help.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers as we work together to rebuild and heal.
With gratitude,
Latasha & Robin
