Restore Fair Lawn Roadhouse: Aid Moshe's Recovery

Donation protected
When Moshe Berow opened his restaurant, Fair Lawn Roadhouse, in February 2024, he watched his dreams be realized before his very eyes. Moshe had dreamt for years of owning his own restaurant.

He started small, two decades ago, by dipping his toe in the industry waters. Each year he took on more responsibility, learning everything he could along the way. Finally, after more than twenty years of learning and planning, Moshe found himself with an opportunity to live his dream.

With his wife and children beside him, with his parents, in-laws, siblings, extended family, and devoted friends supporting him, Moshe opened Fair Lawn Roadhouse and was immediately a smashing success!

While Moshe had spent his life dreaming, he never dreamt-never hoped-to be lucky enough to open a restaurant in a community as awe-inspiring as Fair Lawn.

Fair Lawn is a community that loves each other. We support each other and are dedicated to making this borough remain the best place to live and work.

Fair Lawn Roadhouse is a success for many reasons. Moshe's food is divine. But more so, Moshe worked hard to create the perfect balance of continuing to strive for the best while caring deeply for his team and his customers. Moshe never stopped thinking of ways to grow Fair Lawn Roadhouse, and he never stopped thinking of ways to enhance the work experience for his team.

On Friday, July 26, 2024, Moshe woke up to the devastating news that his restaurant had burned down. A fire broke out overnight in another restaurant a few storefronts down from Fair Lawn Roadhouse and quickly spread. The Fair Lawn firefighters, with the help of firefighters from many neighboring towns, did their best to contain the fire and keep everyone safe. The restaurant, however, was destroyed.

While his family tried to come to grips with the crushing realization that Moshe's dreams, quite literally, went up in flames, Moshe focused on two things: how can he move forward and how can he support his employees. With these two thoughts in mind, Moshe is humbly accepting charitable donations.

While Moshe was responsible about the insurance he carried, he knows that it will take some time-possibly 60-90 days-for him to see any financial help. Moshe's team does not have 60-90 days to pay their bills. They have rent, mortgages, food, and medical bills that must be paid. It is of the utmost importance to Moshe that his employees remain financially stable during this time.

Any money donated beyond the needs of his employees will be used solely to rebuild the restaurant, restock lost inventory, and strengthen the business.

Moshe watched his dream come true, and he is determined to watch it come true again. With your help, Moshe will make this happen.

We humbly and gratefully thank you in advance for your generosity. It will long be remembered and held in our hearts.
