Life Farms has been growing nutrient-dense, organic food for our community in the greater Tampa Bay Area for over 10
years now. In late 2024, with widespread destruction to our crops and buildings from all 3 major Florida storms, we nearly had to close our (barn) doors.
We’ve been steadily rebuilding, but our bees were among the hardest hit. The entire apiary was disrupted, with most of the hives completely destroyed, and sadly, many of our bees were lost. We’re asking for your support to hes rebuild these essential hives and bring back the bees that play such a crucial role not only in our fields, but the larger Florida ecosystem.
We aim to raise $25,000 to invest in new hives, bees, and the supplies needed to restore this part of our farm. Bees are not just honey producers; they’re the invisible hands that pollinate our crops and help maintain a balanced ecosystem. We love to share their honey with you, but their value extends far beyond what we can bottle.
