Restore Homes and Hope in Greeneville, TN
Tax deductible
My name is Katelynn, and I want to share my hometown and community with you. I am from Greeneville which is located in east Tennessee, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. We are known for our landscapes, rolling hills, and vibrant agriculture community.
On Friday, September 27th, Hurricane Helene collided with Greeneville and our beautiful Nolichucky River overflowed as it could not withstand the surge from the storm. This caused people in the community to lose their homes, all their belongings, their farms and their livelihood all within a few hours. These families didn't qualify for hurricane or flood insurance because they are not on the coast.
The devastation from Hurricane Helene is staggering and for the same reasons that you won't read about it in the news, because it is a smaller town, less traveled then some of the coastal communities, they have less resources. The people in Greeneville are my family, it is where I was born and raised and no matter where life takes me and Ryan ... I will proudly, forever call this place my hometown. We hope that you will join us in donating to help Greeneville recover.
100% of the funds from this campaign will go to Aid Net, which will be helping to rebuild homes as part of the long-term recovery effort.
Please continue to pray for Greeneville, and all the surrounding areas that have been destroyed by the hurricane.
