Restore Hope for Frances and Elsie
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Souls,
On Tuesday, January 7, at 6:30 in the evening, the #EatonFire ignited in the midst of unprecedented Santa Ana winds. The rapid spread of the flames is unfathomable and left very little time to evacuate. My dear friend Frances and her daughter Elsie and their cats made it to safety, but their home did not. Please help Frances and Elsie get back on their feet.
Now that I have shared the most critical information, let me introduce myself. My name is Kera Saenz de Maturana, and I met Frances in 2019 when my oldest started middle school. Frances has been a teacher for both my daughters and one of my favorite people to play Scrabble with. She has been teaching in PUSD for 28 years, and you can't find a more dedicated teacher. She sees and hears her students when they need it most. Her daughter Elsie is in the 11th grade at Muir High School and is charting her path to be a veterinarian.
Your support will give them relief as they navigate securing new housing, replacing essentials, and rebuilding their lives.
Every dollar counts, and no contribution is too small. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your generosity will make a tangible difference in helping them recover. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your network.
Thank you ❤️
