Restore Hope for Terra Hill After Devastation

Hello, my name is Terra Hill, and I’m a survivor of the devastating Camp Fire that tragically claimed the lives of 86 people on November 8, 2018, in Butte County. Among those who lost their lives were my dear friends. The fire left me severely burned, covering over 67% of my body, and I’ve been permanently disabled. I endured a two-month coma and spent a total of nine months in the hospital. Unfortunately, I’ll be undergoing foot amputation in the coming months due to the severity of my injuries.

In early February, I was rushed to the hospital due to life-threatening medical complications. Upon returning home, I was shattered to discover that my house had been burglarized. Despite having security cameras, they were unfortunately broken. Among the stolen items were a one-of-a-kind 49ers letterman jacket crafted by Jeff Hamilton, a Bible gifted to me by the family of a seven-year-old boy who passed away beside me during my burn intensive care unit stay at UC Davis, my stove, surround sound speakers, all my DeWalt tools ranging from drills to Skil Saws, my wheelchair, my personal Bible, and even the propane gas supply. My house was completely trashed, leaving me unable to afford to replace the stolen items or pay my bills. My monthly living expenses amount to a mere $1,500, and I have no means to cover the cost of replacing my belongings, paying my bills, and sustaining myself and my beloved animals. This ordeal has been emotionally overwhelming, and I find it challenging to find moments of joy amidst all this hardship. If possible, I kindly request your assistance to help me pay my bills and restore my life before my upcoming foot amputation surgery. It would mean the world to me. No one deserves to face such immense difficulties, and I sincerely wish this upon no one. Thank you all for taking the time to read my story.
