Restore Hope for the Murray Family

Hello, we are the Murray family. Me (pregnant with a baby girl due in February), my husband Jeremy, and our son Ezra (2). We were awakened out of our sleep early morning the day Helene hit by two trees that crashed through our house. It was frantic as we jumped out of bed with almost 5 inches of water covering the floor. Our son's playpen was just an inch away from the water when we retrieved him and evacuated the downstairs of our house. We were trapped and unprepared. It took almost 3 days to get the fallen trees cut away so we could relocate to safer grounds. We lost everything: all my son's toys, furniture, food, our home, and everything we had prepared for our baby girl. It was devastating. We are now staying in a hotel using the FEMA vouchers and barely getting by. We have no access to a kitchen, which has impacted us severely when it comes to food and what we're able to make. My son was diagnosed with COVID on 12/27/24, the day after his birthday. It's just been a struggle all the way around.

Your support will go towards food for our family, necessity items we've lost, gas, and the rest saved up so we can try and get a new place to live.
