Restore Hope for Zenaida After Flood Loss

This go fund me is being set up for Zenaida Silva of Roswell NM. There was a recent devastating flood that occurred in Roswell NM on October 19, 2024. In the matter of hours Zenaida lost everything. She sat in her house for hours on top of her kitchen table as the waters continued to rise in her home. She started to panic fearing being electrocuted by the currents in her home electrical lines. She didn't know if the waters were going to continue to rise and thoughts of drowning crossed her mind. During this time she continued to pray and when the water finally stopped falling she was able to be rescued from her home by the National Guard. We are grateful and thank God that Zenaida is with us today. Unfortunately now with the exception of her beloved TV her only possessions can fit in 4 plastic storage totes. Her home is completely unlivable at the moment and her vehicle got washed away with the rest of her possessions. We are reaching out for help for Zenaida as she is usually very resistant to asking for help. She is very independent and is always first to help out her family and friends when they are in need. She is a very loving mother and grandmother who has a heavy heart and works hard to protect anything that she loves. She is resilient and strong and wants to bounce back from this tragic event and we are trying to help her. Her road to restoring her home and getting her life back to a somewhat normal state will be long.
