Kanaan Restaurant, our beloved establishment founded on the principles of unity and coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians, has recently fallen victim to a devastating act of vandalism. The damages inflicted are far beyond what we can handle on our own, and we find ourselves in urgent need of your support to recover and continue our mission.
Our Story
Kanaan Restaurant was born out of a unique partnership between Israeli and Palestinian co-owners who dared to dream of a place where people from all walks of life could come together over delicious food and shared values. Our mission has always been to bridge divides, foster understanding, and create a space where everyone feels welcome.
The Incident
Unfortunately, our dreams were momentarily shattered when an act of vandalism struck our restaurant. This senseless act has left us with significant damages that our limited resources cannot cover. Although we have insurance, it will not cover a large portion of the expenses, and the claims process is lengthy. We simply do not have the time to wait for these funds while our restaurant remains in disrepair.
