M&M served for years with Youth With A Mission, as well as leading worship and ministering and teaching around the world in numerous capacities. They just relocated back here to Hawaii in mid-April. As mentioned, just two weeks after settling into their new home in Kopoho Hawaii, the Kilauea Volcano eruption sent a lava flow that completed inundated over 600 houses and businesses in the surrounding area, one of these being the Berry's new home. Like so many, they are without a home now, and my wife and I would love to join thousands of their friends around the world to show them the love and care of their family in Christ, by raising the funds to see their home replaced.
Mindy is a songwriter ("That I Might Know You Lord") and Marty a writer as well. We recently read his newly released book, "Break On Through To The Other Side" (available on amazon.com), an amazing testimony of his and Mindy's life and conversion experience. We are both so grateful to have them back here in the islands, and were thrilled for their new home. We have watched with them, like so many of their good friends and new neighbors, praying that the eruption would take a track that would miss the population areas, but as these photos show, all of Kapoho is gone. Marty and Mindy's home is just one of over 600 now destroyed, and we would love to join all of you to see an awesome restoration, beginning with their home!
