Restore Molly's Vision: Donate for Her Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brooke and I run a nursing home in Greensburg, Indiana, called Hickory Creek. We pride ourselves on creating a homelike environment for our residents and one way we do that is with their facility dog, Molly.
Molly has lived with our residents since she was a puppy and is now 7 years old! She loves to walk around the building visiting them in their rooms and hunting for snacks. Our residents look forward to her daily room visits and giving her belly rubs.
Recently Molly has developed cataracts and has lost nearly 90% of her vision. This has caused her to spend more time in bed and less time wandering around. She also struggles with bumping into things. Overall, her mood has changed and she simply isn't her normal self.
The good news is she qualifies to have surgery to restore the majority of the sight she lost! Unfortunately, the procedure, appointments and medications could cost us $6,500. We are hoping to raise the money so that we can help Molly see clear again!
Also, the nursing home does not own the dog. Our parent corporation allows us to have a therapy dog at the property cared for by the residents and staff.
Thank you for your donation!
