Restore Our Beloved Malibu Streetwear Shop Help Us Rebuild

Donation protected
On the night of January 8, tragedy struck when the devastating Los Angeles wildfires swept through our community, engulfing our beloved business in flames. In the blink of an eye, everything we've worked tirelessly for—our passion, our dreams, our future—was reduced to ash.

We are a small, privately owned business based in Malibu, California, @Enviessss on Instagram, that specializes in streetwear culture, nostalgic clothing and knitting, 1 of 1 handcrafted cut and sew designs, and food. For 6 years, we've had the privilege of serving you, our loyal customers, and building lasting relationships. What started as a small dream to make a difference in our corner of LA grew into a thriving business by building a community from Malibu beach, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, and all along PCH Highway offering handcrafted clothing and cultural food with our pop-ups to the people we care about most. Our customers weren't just clients; they became like family to us because of the closely knitted community we built.

But now, that dream lies in ruins.

At the beginning of Santa Monica anything along PCH is restricted access, most of what was the most beautiful part of Los Angeles is now incinerated, reduced to rubble and we can no longer work or provide financial assistance to my business and family.

The wildfires, fueled by fierce winds and dry conditions, spread faster than we could have ever imagined. By the time firefighters arrived, it was already too late. Trying to evacuate through Pacific Palisades left us in zombie-like movie traffic. The scenes were horrific, as the police demanded we leave our vehicles and leave everything behind! Not only did I conduct my business with the help of my car, but I also slept in my car to save money to afford my business and do DoorDash on the side. Now, I am not able to commute around due to the wildfires making it impossible for people to take anything with them other than items that could fit in hand. Everything along Pacific Coast Highway, including our pop-up site which was located right next to Moonshadows restaurant, one of our dear places to eat, and a multitude of other establishments, housing, and places for vendors/businesses to operate, our equipment we use to set up, and all of the memories we've created over the years were destroyed.

As we stand amidst the charred remains, we are faced with the heartbreaking reality that we've lost more than just buildings. We've lost a piece of our hearts. Everything we've worked for, the sweat, the late nights, the endless sacrifices—we're left with nothing but rubble and smoke.

I've set up this GoFundMe to raise money to help us rebuild what we've lost and reach what we need to gain.

This will go toward:
- Rebuilding our storefront and restoring the space where we serve you.

- Replacing essential equipment and supplies that were destroyed in the fire.

- Covering the costs of getting back on our feet and re-opening our doors to the community we love.

- Purchasing a small vehicle or renting transportation.

- A step closer to recovery.

- A new dog house and bed for my french bulldog which was left in the trunk of my car

Whether it's a $1 contribution or a $100 one, your generosity will help breathe life back into our business, craftsmanship, dreams, and restore our faith in humanity.
