Restore Stability to the multigenerational Greene Family
Donation protected
On January 8th, the Eaton Fire destroyed the multigenerational home of the Greene family. Carmen Greene bought her house in 1998 and shared her Altadena home with her daughters Amber and Alana, both college students, and with her elderly parents Ronald and Wanda Reid, both of whom are disabled and wheelchair bound.
All of the Greenes evacuated and are now safe, but the loss of the security of their home has taken a huge toll on the family. Since losing their home, the grandfather, Ronald, has needed extensive care and sadly has had to be placed in a care facility, separated an hour away from the family.
Please help the Greene family restore stability and security to their lives, help them continue to care for their elderly grandparents, and help them recover their lives.
Your donation to this GoFundMe campaign will assist the Greenes with needs that might not be covered by other sources of aid, especially the unexpected burden of a care facility for Ronald and the continued care for Wanda.
Please share this GoFundMe with your friends, family, and social networks to help us reach our goal for the Greenes. Let’s keep this multigenerational family together, safe, supported and loved.
This Fundraiser is created by friends of the family who are lucky enough to know the Greenes through Sequoyah High school. We see the gap in services and needs for this incredible family we love. If you are looking to help during this catastrophic event this is a great way to make a difference directly. We chose the goal amount by considering the lack of support in other areas and because of the new and terrible burden of paying for a care facility on top of losing everything. Any amount you give will be appreciated and go to good use.
