Restore the Jones’s Family Home After LA Fires
Donation protected
It is with a saddened heart I write this. As many of you have seen there has been several ongoing fires that have ravaged through the Los Angeles areas including my Dads home in Altadena. There are no words to describe the sheer heartache that my family and I are experiencing. My Dad bought our house in 1971 after serving in The Vietnam War. He worked 43 years at Post Office retiring 2 years ago. It was the house that brought us all together. The house that he raised his children in. It’s where I have built my whole life, and I want to ensure that it continues to stand as a legacy for my family. We are grateful that he was able to escape but unfortunately when he left he only left with the clothes on his back along with my brother. We aren’t sure how to put the pieces back together, and this was such a tough decision but today I’m reaching out to family friends, community leaders who understand the valve of preserving what matters most. Any donation no matter the size will help keep this piece of our heart and history intact we would forever be grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your generosity and support will make all the difference in ensuring this house my home remains apart of our family legacy for years to come.
With Gratitude
