Restore Susan's Beloved Flower Shop

There is a long-time Meriden, Kansas community member in need of your assistance now. Susan’s Flower Shop roof is not withstanding the recent rains. Within the last 2 years, she has had repairs done, but unfortunately, she was taken advantage of and the repairs were not done correctly. Over the weekend, the rain came pouring in and had to be bucketed out by some community volunteers. There are now holes in the roof and a large amount of mold on the sheetrock. The roof, along with the sheetrock, need to be replaced immediately. This place means the world to Susan. Her parents opened Mongolds Hardware in 1963, and Susan opened the flower shop in 1984. She has many wonderful memories there, and it is devastating her to see it destroyed. Susan has been a part of so many community members' best memories, from proms to weddings to celebrating children's births. Susan’s humbled by the amount of support she has received so far! We wanted to reach out to the community to let everyone know what is happening. We are asking for material or financial donations at this time if anyone is able and willing, so Susan can continue being a part of our Meriden memories.
