Restore the Historic Penteleon Monastery in Axum

We are reaching out to you today to ask for your help in restoring the historic Penteleon Monastery in Axum, Tigray. Last winter, a devastating landslide severely damaged the integrity of this sacred site, leaving the historic church in a precarious situation.

As you may know, the Penteleon Monastery is one of the oldest and most important monasteries in the region. Founded by the revered Abba Pantelewon, it has been a center of learning and religious activity for over a millennium. The monastery's library contains countless manuscripts and artifacts of immeasurable historical and cultural value.

The recent landslide has left the monastery in urgent need of repair. The damage is extensive, and the church leaders and community are struggling to maintain the integrity of the site and continue their important work.
