Restore the Rancho Del Mar Community Path

We are very pleased to announce that the community path that has been closed over property disputes is going to GET REOPENED!! Thanks to the hard work of several in our community and the understanding of the importance of the path to all of us, we have come to a resolution!! As you know, the path is an important part of our community and provides a place to walk our dogs, run and ride our bikes, and access to the Lomas Santa Fe golf course. This is a tremendous value add to ALL homeowners in the surrounding community and we are delighted…BUT…we need your help!

WE NEED TO RAISE SOME FUNDS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

Many people have expressed interest in participating in the funding of this endeavor and we now have the way to do it. Our estimated cost for the total project is approximately $22,000. The breakdown is as follows:

1. Coral Tree removal: $4,000

2. Installation of new concrete path: $12,000

3. Additional landscaping: $3,000

4. Legal easement documents: $3,000

Rancho Del Mar Estates has agreed to take responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the pathway once the path is finished.

A special thank you to Amelia Lima, landscape architect for her complimentary design expertise and drawings in the development of the path, and to John Cavanaugh and the Board at Rancho Del Mar Estates, for their hard work in negotiating the settlement with the neighbors to get this all done.
