Restore the Westovers Electricity
Donation protected
On Saturday, Feb 11th, a part of a tree fell across our driveway, taking down our power lines and ripping the electric meter box off the side of our house. Luckily there wasn't much damage to any other part of the house, and the tree and electrical parts missed the car in the driveway. However, Georgia Power had to cut our electricity early Sunday morning until we can get the meter box repaired and reinstalled. In the mean time, our home insurance has us staying at a nearby hotel. While we have received the green light from insurance to proceed with repairs, the final estimates and then payment will take another 7+ business days. Instead of having to stay in the hotel for another week or more, we have the opportunity to restore power by the end of this week, but it means we need to pay the nearly $3000 on our own and get reimbursed from insurance down the road. This is money we don't have.
We appreciate any help you can provide.
