Help renovate Young Indiana Jones' Iconic childhood home!

Hi! I'm Sabra and I've owned Young Indy's house from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade since 2017. I run it as a bed and breakfast in Antonito, CO. I love this house!

Over the years, I've put just about all the money I've earned from the business, donations, and personal income into the house updating, repairing and general maintenance of the property. It is very expensive to maintain an adobe house that was built in 1888. I've come to the point where I cannot afford to perform the most expensive parts of the maintenance, such as foundation work, new stucco, seventeen new windows and frames, two new doors and frames, and rebuild the original chimney and firebox.

I am in the process of getting a state of Colorado Historical designation, then I can apply for a restoration grant, but that grant is not guaranteed and I'm looking at about two years of applications and decision making. I am and will continue to research other grants available to me. I cannot take out any more loans.

I have a couple of choices here: I can hope that some of you will donate to the cause and help keep Young Indy's house alive and well, or I have to close eventually because the repairs that need to be made are important for the structural integrity of the building, maintaining a piece of movie history, as well as guest's comfort. For example, we lost a window pane in one of the upstairs hall windows this spring and will be putting in a temporary window. To put in the permanent window, the entire dormer has to be rebuilt and that cannot be done until the foundation is fixed and the new exterior stucco is ready to be placed. It's a complicated and a lengthy process.
