Restore Zuma Coffee: Support Joel and Staff
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Hurricane Helene has brought devastating floods to our beloved town of Marshall, NC, and tragically, Zuma Coffee—Joel’s heart and soul, and a cornerstone of our community—was completely destroyed.
Whether you came for a chat, a coffee, or to find comfort among familiar faces, Zuma was more than just a coffee shop. It was our home away from home. Now, the floodwaters have washed away not only Joel’s and his staff’s livelihood but also a piece of our town’s spirit.
Rebuilding will take time, effort, and most of all, resources. We’re asking for your support to cover the costs of cleanup, repairs, replacing equipment, restocking, and supporting the staff who helped make Zuma what it is. Every dollar counts and will go directly towards restoring Zuma Coffee.
Marshall has always been a town that comes together in times of need. Let’s show Joel and Zuma Coffee the same love they’ve shown us for so many years. Together, we can bring this special place back to life.
About me: I’m Melissa Robinson, a friend of Joel’s, a Town of Marshall resident, and a former business owner at 10 S Main Street in Marshall. The business I ran, Marshall Container Co., once occupied the very space where Joel first started Zuma Coffee, and I’m not ready to see Zuma’s story end here. Please join me in helping bring Zuma back to Marshall.
