A Father’s Plea: Help Us Escape Gaza War & Rebuild Our Lives

Our Story: Devastation in Gaza

My name is Mohran Bayed, and I’m a 34-year-old father of three young children—Ayan (10 mo), Delara (6 yr), and Lalitah (5 yr). Our lives were once filled with hope and promise, but the Gaza War has shattered everything we held dear.

On October, 2023, our world was turned upside down. The horrors of war have left us homeless, grieving the loss of friends and loved ones, and struggling to survive each day. The birth of my youngest, Ayan, during this turmoil has only magnified the challenges we face—basic necessities like milk, diapers, and vaccines have become nearly impossible to secure. We were forced to flee south, leaving behind our home and everything we knew, with nothing but the clothes on our backs.

The Urgent Need: Help Us Find Safety and Rebuild

We are now in desperate need of your support to secure food, medical care, and safety for my children as we seek refuge in a safer place. Our immediate goal is to raise 90,000 CAD (~66,000 USD) to cover essential expenses, including:

- $5,000: Bank transfer fees for relocating to a new country.

- $7,000: New Mac device including assets needed for work.

- $24,000: Egypt allocation cost for 6 month~$4000 per month for 5 family members at least—contains food, medicine and rent and schools for the children’s.

With your generous contributions, we can also acquire the necessary equipment to resume my work as a Software Engineer and provide for my family. Our ultimate hope is to establish a peaceful environment where my children can grow without fear.
