Restoring Hope in North Carolina Together
Donation protected
Recently, North Carolina has been devastated by severe hurricanes, leaving thousands without homes, food, and basic necessities. Entire communities have been completely wiped out. These people are facing an uncertain future. More than ever we are hoping to come together as a country and show strangers love and compassion.
For those who don’t know, my name is Mika Webb, and I’m a Salon Owner & hairstylist in Stillwater, OK. While Corbin Lacy started out as a client of mine, over time he and I have become good friends. He’s a college student at Oklahoma State University, always busy with multiple side hustles keeping him busy! Though there’s a bit of an age difference between us, we’ve bonded over countless conversations about business ventures, current events, and everything in between. Wednesday while cutting Corbin’s hair, he and I got into a conversation about the devastation caused by the hurricanes. We realized so much of the disaster wasn’t being fully shown in the media, and we both felt a strong urge to do something. As we talked, we both realized we couldn’t just sit back and watch—we had to do something! While we may not personally know all of the victims, we feel deeply connected to their cause and want to do our part to help.
That’s how this plan came to life. Together we’re raising funds to send him and 15 of his Oklahoma State FarmHouse fraternity brothers to North Carolina. These young men are committed to providing hands-on support, distributing food and water, basic necessities, along with bringing much-needed hope to those affected. What started as a simple conversation, has turned into something we both feel so strongly about—and now, we’re asking for your help to make it happen. Blush Beauty and Lacy Lawncare are funding the journey to North Carolina, covering the costs of lodging, gas, and food for Corbin and his fraternity brothers. But to make a bigger impact, we need your help.
In addition to monetary donations, we are accepting drop-offs of water, food, and basic necessities until October 9th at Blush Beauty or Farmhouse. Please contact myself or Corbin if you have any questions about how to contribute.
How Your Donation Will Make an Impact:
1. On-the-Ground Relief: The fraternity brothers will be working directly in the hardest-hit communities, helping to clear debris and assisting families in need of immediate support.
2. Supplies & Resources: Funds will also be used to purchase critical supplies—food, water, clothing, hygiene products, and building materials—that will be distributed to those in need.
3. Long-Term Support: In addition to immediate aid, our goal is to create lasting change. The volunteers will work alongside local organizations to ensure that rebuilding efforts continue long after the storm has passed. In the event there are any remaining funds after our trip and relief efforts, it will be donated to a local church in North Carolina. The church will use these extra funds to continue supporting families in the affected communities by providing food, clothing, and other essential resources, as well as helping them rebuild and recover. This ensures that any additional contributions continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most.
This isn’t just a campaign; it’s a mission to show that, in times of crisis, we can all come together. We believe in the power of community, and that even small actions can create a ripple effect of change. By supporting this fundraiser, you’re not just helping us send volunteers—you’re standing in solidarity with the people of North Carolina who have lost so much! Corbin and the guys will be leaving October 10th. And remember, if you aren’t able to help, your prayers are just as much appreciated!
With the incredible support we’ve received, I want to be clear Corbin and I are responsible for all funds. We will ensure it is distributed appropriately and used directly for the relief efforts.
Thank You!!!
