HELP Restore Our Forests - Boston Bar Fire

Hello & Bom Dia everyone, my name is Raquel and I am a proud member of the Portuguese Canadian Rod and Gun Club.

On August 17, 2023 our community was devastated by a tragic fire that has destroyed countless trees and left us feeling sad and disheartened.

Our club, like many others in the area, has always cherished the beauty and serenity of nature. We have always been advocates for responsible hunting and fishing practices, ensuring that our activities never harm the delicate balance of our environment. The loss of these trees, which provided shelter to wildlife and contributed to the overall health of our ecosystem, has deeply affected us.

The fire has not only taken away the picturesque landscape we once treasured, but it has also impacted the livelihoods of many in our community who rely on the forestry industry. In order to restore what has been lost, we need to work hard and come together as a community. The process of rebuilding our forestry will be a long and arduous journey, but we are determined to make it happen.

However, we cannot do it alone. We need your support, your generosity, and your donations to help us bring back the lush greenery that once adorned our lands.

Our club has set up a donation page where you can contribute towards this cause. Every penny will be used to replant trees & restore habitats. By working hand in hand, we can rebuild what was lost and ensure a brighter and greener future for generations to come.
