Hi, my name is Trisha Mitchell and I am Paulette Clarke's niece. I have created this page as a way for us to help my aunt restore her home and her belongings.

On the evening of June 19, 2023 Paulette was in her home doing her usual evening activities. Dinner by the TV, while chatting with family and friends on the phone. On this particular evening, there was a lightning and thunderstorm which struck her home and resulted in a fire in the attic. As Paulette continued her evening, she was suddenly interrupted by her next-door neighbors who frantically rang and knocked on her door yelling for her to evacuate. The local officials did the best they could to put out the fire and protect the neighboring homes however, the fire has destroyed Paulette's home and has left her with very limited belongings.

Paulette feels very blessed to be alive and is thankful for her neighbors who evacuated her from the fire. However, the emotional toll is immeasurable as she now faces the daunting task of rebuilding from scratch. Repairing Paulette's home will be extensive. This fire has left her without basic necessities and the possessions she has accumulated over the years.

Our family is asking for donations to help Paulette restore her home and belongings. Any amount that you can donate is incredibly helpful and will make a significant impact on her journey to recovery. Your phone calls, and text messages to her are appreciated and we ask that in this time you please continue to pray for her as she navigates through this devastating event.
