Resurrections furniture: rise up from ash

Hello everyone, 
As many of you may know resurrections is a furniture business created by a man with such a big heart and epic generosity. It began as a father and son team making only $7 a week repurposing things that were old, discarded, and unwanted. Slowly the business grew and became something loved by most everyone that came in. Resurrections is based in east aurora but the actual place where the magic happens (furniture is built and created with attention to detail and the individual’s desires and dreams in mind) was at his home. As of October 4th there was a massive fire and that place burned to the ground. As I stood there beside such a bold, kind, and generous man that employed so many people to help make others incredibly happy, all I could see was the devastation on his face. He couldn’t believe that is was all gone just like that, but his biggest concern were his customers and his employees. Times are unpredictable as we all know in this year of 2020 and no one could have seen this one coming.

No one was injured in the fire but the years of hard work, the tools from his now passed father who began the business with him, and the memories he created with his kids are now gone. I created this Gofundme Because I know that many of his customers love the work he does and love his soul and his drive to get their piece perfect. He has always offered to go above and beyond and has done what we thought was impossible. This business was more than a lively hood, it was a ministry and a calling. Matthew Brotka used this business to become outrageously generous and wouldn’t Think twice if he felt that he should help someone. 

In the aftermath of a fire everything feels so surreal and often times unbelievable. I am coming to those that have worked with this business or know Matthew to ask for a way to resurrect his business from the ashes, much like he does with old furniture, and create something beautiful and fruitful again. If you can help out in any way, even a little will go a long way to helpinghim to rebuild and get back to making people elated and feel cared for. 

I thought there was no better community to come to than the one that has directly been impacted by resurrections furniture and ask if youhave met Matthew and feel compelled to help him with this massive loss, we would be forever grateful.
