Retired Chicago Police Officer Fundraiser for Medical Expenses
Dear Friends and Family,
We are reaching out on behalf of a dedicated retired Chicago Police Officer who has faced immense medical challenges.
Leo Pfest grew up in Chicago, loves classic cars and is a Lane Tech HS alum (Class of 1982). He and his brother are both retired CPD. Leo served on the Chicago Police Department for over 32 years. He and his wife, Mimi, raised their two children on the northwest side of Chicago. Their son is currently in the Chicago Police Academy. Many years ago, Leo battled brain cancer and endured a long road to recovery. Sadly, since his retirement, numerous medical complications resurfaced from his brain surgeries, resulting in lengthy hospital stays, rehabilitation and immobility. The medical intervention needed is expensive, ongoing and includes daily caregivers.
We invite you to contribute to Leo Pfest’s GoFundMe fundraising campaign to ease the financial burden on his family. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference.
Click on the link to donate and please share this campaign with your friends, family and CPD community. A heartfelt “Thank You” for your generosity and for being a source of strength and hope during this very difficult time for the Pfest Family.
Thank you.
