Tax deductible
During the early morning hours of March 29, 2022, several homes along Nashua Street in Ashburn became engulfed in flames. This catastrophic fire claimed one life, caused several injuries, completely destroyed three homes and caused serious damage to a fourth.
Injured in the fire was Beth Hrabak, a background investigator with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. Beth, who resided at the house with her spouse and mother-in-law where the blaze originated, lost her mother-in-law to the fire. Beth is a retired police officer from Maryland, who came out of retirement to support the Sheriff’s office and her community by recruiting the brightest and bravest for the Sheriff’s Office.
Beth was transported to MedStar Hospital in Washington, DC for burn related injuries and has since been released.
The house is a total loss and Beth and her family have lost everything.
To assist Beth and her family, Loudoun-Dulles FOP Lodge #69 has established this fund to assist our sister and her family in rebuilding their lives. Funds will be used for temporary housing, clothing and other necessities lost in the fire. The family escaped the fire with only the clothes on their backs.
Please take a minute and pray for Beth and her family as they suffer from this unimaginable loss.
