Thank you for keeping Al in your thoughts. He was a loving family man, and retired Police Sergeant with ASU DPS. Al was a survivor and resilient human being who cared a lot about helping people and was loved by many. It's sad that an unfortunate accident took him from his family on his way home from his morning walk.

 

Friday morning, between 6:45 - 715 am; Al was struck and killed by a hit and run accident near Kiwanis park off Cornell drive out on his morning walk. Little is known of the driver who fled on foot after being run off the road by a white construction vehicle. This incident is still under investigation and will be updated as more information becomes available.

 

There is never a right time for a passing, and certainly never easy during the holidays. Last-minute arrangements can be an untimely task for the family at a time of grieving. The family has opened a crowdfunding link to help out with some of the funeral costs. ANY contribution will help! We love you for taking the time to reach out.
