Retired Teacher Facing Homelessness

Hi, my name is Stephen Shearer and I'm raising funds for myself. I was an English teacher for 20+ years in Klein, Aldine, and Spring Branch ISDs. After retiring, I was a caregiver to my parents in my hometown of Sweeny and had the honor of being with them in their final years. I wouldn't change a moment of being there with them, but that experience broke me emotionally. I've tried to recover, but I keep making mistakes that have left me in debt with medical and monthly bills. I am trying to figure out how to climb out of debt, but I'm likely to be homeless by Dec. 4. I don't know what to do and I'm hoping some people will remember the teacher who helped them or colleague who worked well in the classroom. Anything you might donate is appreciated.
