Retirement gift for Coach Papa!

Greetings Tar Heel Alumnus... I am looking forward to celebrating the incredible career of Coach Papa in September. As Coach Papa enters the well-deserved milestone of retirement, we have the opportunity to show our gratitude and appreciation for all that she has done. I have set up a GoFundMe to provide Coach Papa with funds for a trip of her choosing.

I invite all members of the Tar Heel family, both past and present, as well as friends and supporters of the program, to join us in giving the gift of travel. Coach Papa will be presented a check along with a list of everyone who contributed on the weekend Friday, September 15th. Every contribution, no matter the size, will be appreciated and acknowledged with gratitude.

For decades, Coach Papa has poured her heart and soul into our softball program, shaping the lives of countless student-athletes and instilling in them the values of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. Her impact goes far beyond the softball field, she empowered young women to become strong, confident individuals, ready to take on the world beyond their playing days.
