Return Home to Rhode Island

Hello to everyone who is reading our story. My husband and I are grateful. We are desperately in need of funds to return to our home state Rhode Island. We came to CA to help my husband's mother who passed away and left her home and assets to her church. I have survived Breast Cancer twice and we lost our home to a Short Sale to come here and now have only our Social Security income of $1800. We have struggled barely paying bills every month and COVID was very difficult. We paid our rent every month with very little left to pay for anything else. Our Landlord just raised our rent $250. with our rent now $2,000. which we cannot afford. We have no family, but there is help, work and housing for us if we can get back to Rhode Island. I am 76 and my husband is 73. Without help from everyone reading our story, we are very close to being homeless and losing all the few belongings that are the only things and memories we have. The cost of the truck, expenses to travel and rent for a few months until my husband can receive a paycheck are impossible without help from the kind people who will help us. We will be so appreciative of any contribution. We are not knowledgeable of any social media and if anyone reading our story would share it we would be thankful. Our prayers are with hope that we can raise the money to return to Rhode Island, live the end of our life and be buried next to my parents in our church cemetery. God Bless everyone who can help us.
