Support Returning to Roots (R2R) Initiative & Project KAIDA
Donation protected
Greetings to all,
First, thank you so much for taking the time to visit this page.
I am fundraising by running 5K a day for 30 days wearing a Scalable Tactical Vest to help raise funds for the Returning to Roots initiative and the Project KAIDA via the Gurkha Welfare Trust in a memory of LCpl Gaj Bahadur Gurung.
In 2011, LCpl Gurung lost his life while deployed on Op HERRICK 15, Afghanistan. He was attached with 1 YORKS as part of Gurkha Reinforcement Company 3 based in Munster, Germany.
Returning to Roots initiative aims to build earthquake-resistant homes for vulnerable Gurkha veterans or their widows living. These people are only on welfare pensions provided by the GWT having no rights to live in the UK or receive a service pension.
The redevelopment of The Gurkha Museum is taking place under the name Project KAIDA. Kaida is the Nepali word for a unique blend of heritage, customs and ethos, and a forward-looking mindset. It is the ‘Gurkha way’ and has been central to the successful contributions of the Gurkhas for over two hundred years of military service in the British Army.
Lastly, I would like to kindly request you to please donate for these noble causes and show your support by sharing the link below.
Thank you.
Kindest regards,
