Reuben fundraising for Macmillan and Scouts

Hello! My name is Reuben and I am in 1st New Cross Scouts. I am going, with around 120 other Scouts from South London, on a trip to Croatia in 2023.  It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to have this experience with so many other Scouts, I'm grateful to be able to go as Scouting is very important to me. We are going to be there for 10 days and are going to be doing lots of exciting activities and having new experiences. We will learn team building, Scouting skills and learn about the culture of another country.  It is very exciting and a great opportunity for us but the money to pay for it is a lot and we need to fundraise.

I have decided also to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who helped my Dad last year when he was diagnosed with cancer.

I am going to fundraise for both these things by, on the 2nd of May, doing the 7mile Junior Bridgnorth Walk. The walk includes a climb to the top of the Brown Clee which is the highest hill in Shropshire and is 540m above sea level. As the walk is mainly uphill it is sure to get pretty steep pretty fast. Plus Bridgnorth is northern, so it would be quite cold.

Please fund me as this would help a lot, both with my Scout trip and to help others with cancer like my Dad.
