Unexpected Funeral & living expenses
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cynthia Goss, originally I did not want to have to resort to this, however, due to the current circumstances and financial obligations, I decided to go ahead in effort to help with expenses for funeral services and support for my family.
While riding his motorcycle after work, we believe going to the gym, my 26 year old son, Jovaun was hit and killed by a drunk driver, who was driving without a valid drivers license from a previous DUI, and left the scene of the accident. Fortunately, the action of a witness who called 911, the PCSO was able to identify and arrest the driver.
My son was a genuine and kind soul to all! We recently found out many of his friends had the same thoughts of who he was to them and the type of person they saw him as. Most describe him as kind, a protector, funny, one to console, make you laugh and stand up for you like your brother. This was just a part of his beautiful sole! Most of all, he was a son, a brother, a nephew and a friend to anyone he met! Outside of expenses involved with the funeral services, we all have missed several days of work or unable to return to work to date. Working while grieving is harder than any of us had imagined. Fortunately, employers have offered us the option to take a leave vs losing jobs completely. I just want to raise enough to get the services paid for (no auto insurance coverage since the at fault driver was unlicensed) and allow our family to grieve briefly without having to go into extreme debt.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I know God has a plan for my baby. If you are unable to donate we completely understand and ask that you will please share this! We also ask that you pray for my son Jovaun, myself, his sister, brother, father & extended family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
