Reunite baby Allegra with her daddy
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Karis Scarlette and some of you may know me from my work in the ballet teaching industry in London and Birmingham.
Recently the UK Home Office refused my Brazilian husband's visa application to come and live and work here with us his family in the UK on the grounds that he doesn't earn enough money in Brazil/ we as a family don't have enough savings or assets to warrant him being allowed to relocate to this country. This is all in spite of us having a baby daughter under the age of one . . .
This has come as a shock to all of us and we are desperately working towards a Human Rights appeal in order to have the government's decision reversed. Until then, my husband is BANNED from entering the UK even to visit us.
In the meantime, we are trying to raise money to go towards the legal fees the appeal will incur and also towards a reunion for our family in a country such as Portugal or Spain seeing as my husband (whose name is Junior) can't come to UK. Sadly our daughter Allegra and I are unable to make the 72 hour trip to Brazil to see him due to logistics and other personal reasons. Allegra was 3.5 months old when she last saw her father. She's now 10 months old and my husband has missed every milestone and 'first' moments in her life to date which we will never get back.
We appreciate any help you can give us to ease the stress and heartbreak of being forcibly separated.
Thank you sincerely,
Karis, Junior and baby Allegra.
