Those of you who know me will know my story.
In 2016, I moved to Australia with my 1.5 yr old English born daughter and her Australian father.
Never did I imagine we would be trapped here permanently with no freedom or right to return to our family and place of birth in the UK.
After just a month of arriving in Australia, I escaped from family violence and have since (for 6 yrs) been stuck in the family court system trying to get home to my lovely family in the UK.
I couldn't leave Australia as my daughters passports were taken by her father. The British embassy would not help me.
In November 2021 my worse nightmare was revealed when a judge made orders that I cannot take my now 7 yr old daughter to visit our family in the UK until she is 12 yrs old, and even then I can only travel to the UK (no other country) if I put a $40,000 bond in place.
Basically, it makes it impossible for me to ever take my daughter to see our family, or ever leave Australia.
Orders were also made without the consideration of my daughters birthday each year - I do not get to celebrate her birthday with her.

I have to fight for my daughters rights until she reaches 16 yrs of age - the age she is legally allowed to make her own decisions.
By then, she'll have spent her whole childhood not knowing her family or roots. She deserves to have a sense of identity.

Don't get me wrong, we live in 'paradise'; we are healthy and surrounded by friends. We are grateful for that.
But every day, I battle with the sadness of missing our family and losing that special bond that you can not gain over a Skype call.
My lovely mum is not getting any younger and hasn't been in the best health over the last few years.
We have missed family milestones, and the births of my baby nephews and cousins Willow may never meet until she is a teenager.
I need to come up with $15,000 to pay for a barrister to run an appeal to overturn these unfair and unimaginable orders.
Please, if you can help whatsoever, I will be forever thankful.
